Prawns – 500 gm
Dry red chilli – 8
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Onion – 1/2
Crushed ginger gralic – 1 tsp
Tomato – 1
Water – 1/2 cup Coconut oil – 3 tbsp
Put dry red chilli in a mixer and pulse 3 to 4 times and make chilli flakes.
Marinate 500 gm prawns with chilli flakes, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, salt and set aside.
Heat 2 to 3 tbsp coconut oil in a pan and saute onion until it become slightly golden, to this add crushed ginger, garlic and saute until the raw smell goes off.
Now add curry leaves and prawns.
Saute it for about 1 minute, cover and cook for about 1 minute.
Add 1/2 cup of water and let it come to a rolling boil.
Cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Now add coriander powder, black pepper powder, mix well.
Add chopped tomato and cover until the tomato is well cooked.
Combine everything and cover for about 1 minute. Finally give it a good mix.
