Kasaragod Special Dry Prawns Ivy Gourd Stir Fry Recipe in Malayalam.
Ivy gourd – 250 gm
Dry prawns – 1/3 cup
Onion – 1/2
Garlic cloves – 2
Red chilli powder – 11/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Roasted coriander powder – 2 tsp
Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
Coconut oil – 2 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Water – 1/2 cup
Heat coconut oil in a pan, add mustardvseeds and let it crackle.
Add onion and saute it for a few seconds, add curry leaves.
To this add Ivy gourd, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and saute for about a minute.
Add 1/2 cup of water and let it come to a rolling boil.
Cover and cook it for about 5-8 minutes.
Add grated coconut, crushed garlic cloves, coriander powder.
Cover for a minute.
Combine everything and saute and cook it until the ivy gourd become soft and fried well.
